Commenting Guidelines

I love readers’ comments and questions! They often start fun discussions and create new friendships. Please feel free to leave any comments you wish, but those that don’t adhere to the following guidelines will not be published:

1. No need for any rudeness. Please refrain from vulgar language, name calling, and other undesirable language. I strive to create a welcoming, loving environment on Willow Bird Baking.

2. Comments that seem wholly designed for advertising will be deleted (for instance, comments with a link in the body that do not pertain to a discussion or to the post you’re responding to).

I do reserve the right to delete any comment for any reason at any time, but in general, these are the only reasons I’d do so! Please contact me via email if you have any questions or concerns: juruble@gmail’dot’com.

  1. Hey! I just came across your post about the pumpkin squash in a LiveJournal community and came here to read the whole story. Very enjoyable! You seem nice and entertaining! I work at a law firm as a receptionist and have little to no work everyday and only receive about 5 phone calls/day. Its awful sometimes! So I spend my time on LiveJournal/FaceBook (just recently discovered that GoogleChrome does not have every website in the world blocked from our IT department at work…until they figure it out!) and reading blogs that I’ve stumbled upon. I’m looking forward to wasting hours a day reading your blogs, so far I’ve been entertained! Anyways, I just wanted to introduce myself and say thank you for having a blog!

P.S. In case you want to know what I look like or want to read my LiveJournal, my direct link is A lot of my entries are locked to friends only so if you care to read, just send me a message or leave me a comment on a public post and I’ll add you to my friends, if not, I’m not offended!

  2. Julie, I followed your LJ link here and all I can say is Wow! You are passionate about food and cooking, articulate, creative and provide well-explained recipes in a clean, professional format. Plus, the food you create looks scrumptious! I certainly share your cooking interests, and am looking forward to exploring your recipes and getting freshly inspired in my own kitchen. This site is definitely a keeper, now bookmarked. Thanks!

  3. Have just stumbled upon your website and am excited… my kitchen is where I find some mental stability in a crazy world!! (Well, there and in the Word!!) The more homemade it is, the more I love it!! The challenge is having three little girls under the age of four. They love, at times a bit too much, to give a hand!! 🙂
Anyway, I found your site via a google search for a peanut-butter choc. cheesecake. Am salivating over your recipe. Cheesecake is one of my forte’s, but I am excited to try a new spin on it. Will comment next week on how it turned out!!
Blessings!! Looking forward to being a follower! 🙂

  4. I am so happy I found your Blog. I am not a big cook any more since it is just me now but I will be trying your Meatloaf CupFakes! Brilliant!
